XRP Ledger Batch Upgrade Fails to Meet 80% Vote Threshold
The XRP Ledger Batch upgrade remains below the required 80% vote threshold. Currently, 24 out of 35 validators support the amendment, which would enable accounts to bundle up to eight transactions into one operation.
The proposed change was introduced in version 3.3.0 of the XRPL and is meant to replace a vulnerable Batch code that was disabled due to an authorization flaw.
The BatchV1_1 amendment has no confirmed activation date, but it could potentially activate in late September if support exceeds 80% continuously for two weeks.
