XRP Ledger Batch V1.1 Amendment Nears Activation with 27 Validator Votes
The XRP Ledger's Batch V1.1 amendment is nearing activation after developers fixed 11 software issues uncovered during security reviews.
The current version of the amendment has secured 27 of 35 validator votes, leaving it one vote short of the 80% activation threshold required to enter the network's activation period.
Developers addressed problems involving transaction signatures, authorization checks, and potential server crashes before the latest vote. The Batch V1.1 feature would allow users to combine up to eight transactions into a single operation and require linked payments to complete together.
RippleX said commercial projects are already under contract or development to use the feature, but did not name the companies involved.
