The XRP Ledger is gearing up for its next major upgrade with version 3.3.0, which has undergone a community-driven security review. The upcoming features include Confidential MPTs, Batch transactions, Permission Delegation, Sponsored Fees and Reserves, and Dynamic MPTs. These new features aim to improve transaction execution, delegated authority, market structure, token privacy, and fee sponsorship.

Ripple collaborated with Sherlock, a Web3 security firm, to conduct an external review of the five upcoming areas of XRPL functionality. The participants from the XRP community earned rewards by helping improve the amendments, unlocking $309,000 in RLUSD rewards. Two weeks of adversarial pressure revealed 2 Critical, 6 High, 29 Medium, and 59 Low issues, with valid findings in every area.

The XRP Ledger version 3.2.1 was released on August 1 as a hot fix for the manifest flood observed on July 31. The community now anticipates the upcoming version 3.3.0, set to unlock key amendments for the network.
