XRP Ledger Foundation Partners with Ankr to Provide Free Global Nodes
The XRP Ledger Foundation has partnered with Ankr to provide free global nodes for developers building on the XRP Ledger. This partnership is a significant step towards making it easier for developers to access and build on the network.
Ankr has deployed active nodes in New York, Singapore, Amsterdam, and San Francisco, which will provide access to mainnet and testnet JSON-RPC endpoints without requiring developers to run their own infrastructure. This move is expected to simplify node management and reduce the barrier to entry for developers.
The rollout of these global public nodes coincides with the proposed XRPL v3.3.0 upgrade, which includes features such as zero-knowledge privacy and atomic settlement. These features are aimed at institutional adoption and are still pending validator approval.
