The XRP Ledger has reached an impressive milestone, surpassing 8.03 million accounts. This growth has caused the estimated balance required to rank among the top 1% of XRP wallets to rise to around 44,930 XRP.
However, according to analyst Cheeky Crypto, this figure should not be viewed as a fixed target. The threshold changes constantly due to new wallet creation, shifting balances, and network expansion.
With approximately 80,000 wallet addresses representing the top 1%, the required XRP balance is determined by the distribution of holdings across all accounts rather than a predetermined requirement.
The expanding XRP Ledger has altered how wallet ownership is distributed. New account additions affect percentile rankings, while existing holders continue to accumulate, sell, transfer, or consolidate XRP across different wallets.
