XRP Ledger developers have released xrpld version 3.2.1 as a hotfix to prevent resource exhaustion following a manifest flood attack on July 31.

The update introduces four safeguards to limit manifest size, message batches, cache growth, and data sharing from untrusted sources without affecting ledger consensus or causing financial loss.

XRP Ledger developers urge node operators to upgrade and perform a two-step restart to clear old data and ensure protection.
