XRP Ledger Integrates Native Cross-Chain Transfers Through Axelar

The XRP Ledger has expanded its capabilities by adopting native cross-chain transfers through the Axelar network.

This integration connects both the main XRP Ledger network and the XRPL EVM Sidechain through the Axelar App interface, allowing for the transfer of supported assets with minimal friction.

The system currently supports the movement of native XRP tokens as well as other digital assets such as SHx, USDf, SOIL, WETH, WBTC, mBTC, mTBILL, and mXRP.

Ripple's President Monica Long noted that this development marks an operational turning point for the digital asset sector, where financial entities are migrating from test environments to direct production deployments.
