XRP Ledger Nears 1M Daily Payments Amid Surge in Network Activity
XRP Ledger's daily payment count has surged to 890,000 in just 24 hours, according to XRPSCAN data.
This marks a significant increase from the previous day, with activity reaching 879,868 payments on September 1. The network is now mere 11,032 payments away from hitting the psychologically significant daily payment threshold of one million.
A closer look at the data reveals that the 30-day average has increased by 33.6% over the previous day, indicating a substantial rise in network activity.
Historically, XRP Ledger has seen periods of extremely high activity, with daily payments exceeding 1.5 million between February and May. However, regaining seven-digit daily activity would be a significant improvement from the poor conditions observed in June and July.
