XRP Ledger One Vote Away from Scalability Upgrade

XRP Ledger is on the verge of implementing an upgrade called Batch V1.1, which allows up to eight different transactions in a block to increase throughput and scalability.

The upgrade has already received 27 out of 35 validator votes, with only one more vote needed to activate it. While some have raised concerns about the potential for execution and security issues due to the 'all-or-nothing' setup, most validators are confident that the upgrade will be secure.

XRP Ledger's on-chain activity has been lagging behind its price gains, with transaction counts and DEX volume still below previous quarters. However, the Batch V1.1 upgrade could provide a timely catalyst for increased network activity in Q4.
