XRP Ledger Partners With Ankr For Global Public Nodes Ahead Of Mainnet Upgrade
The XRP Ledger Foundation has partnered with Ankr to expand public node access to the XRP Ledger (XRPL) network. This move aims to simplify interactions between developers and users, eliminating the need for individual nodes.
Ankr will provide a global network of public nodes across various locations, including New York, Singapore, Amsterdam, and San Francisco. These nodes offer free JSON-RPC endpoints for both the XRP Ledger mainnet and testnet, providing real-time network health information and other metrics.
The rollout comes ahead of the expected xrpld v3.3.0 mainnet upgrade, which includes five proposed amendments to enhance the network's capabilities. These amendments include Confidential MPT, Batch, Permission Delegation, Sponsored Fees and Reserves, and Dynamic MPT.
