XRP Ledger Prepares for Major Upgrade with Five Key Features
The XRP Ledger is set to release its version 3.3.0 update between August 3-9, introducing five key amendments that enhance privacy, transaction flexibility, and institutional usability.
Notable features include zero-knowledge proofs for token transfers, a fixed and reintroduced Batch transaction feature allowing atomic execution of multiple transactions, permission delegation for limited signing authority, sponsored fees for institutions, and dynamic token property adjustments.
The Batch feature was delayed due to a critical bug but is now fixed and reintroduced as BatchV1_1. Activation requires at least 80% validator approval over two weeks, making community consensus crucial for these upgrades to go live.
