Vet notes that while Algorand has launched quantum-secured accounts based on Falcon-1024 signatures, its architecture still relies heavily on the vulnerable Ed25519 standard for everyday operations.
Ripple's comprehensive strategy and Project Eleven initiatives involve a complete security audit of every layer of XRP Ledger. This plan includes a testing phase in 2027, the hybrid use of old and new signatures in parallel, and the final mainnet upgrade in 2028.
