XRP Ledger Reaches Milestone with Version 3.3.0 Release
The XRP Ledger (XRPL) has reached a significant milestone with the release of version 3.3.0 of XRPLD, its reference server implementation.
This update introduces bug fixes and improvements, as well as the retirement of five longstanding amendments: Clawback, fixDisallowIncomingV1, fixInnerObjTemplate, fixNFTokenReserve, and fixUniversalNumber.
The amendments were made permanent and their functionality is now unchangeable parts of the XRPL protocol.
RippleX's Mayukha Vadari explained that retiring an amendment is different from removing a feature, as it involves deleting pre-amendment code left in the codebase after an amendment has been active for some time.
