XRP Ledger Reaches Record Transactions Amid Stablecoin Growth
The XRP Ledger processed over 222 million transactions in Q2 2026, marking its second-highest quarterly total ever. Despite a decline from the previous quarter's record of 238 million transactions, this number represents only a 6.5% drop. The network handled an average of 2.44 million transactions per day, but failed transactions rose to 24.5% of the total, up from 19% in Q1.
Existing users remained more active than new ones during the quarter, with returning addresses averaging about 14,380 per day, a smaller decline of 8.4% compared to new addresses at around 2,380 per day, down 22%. Trading on XRPL's native decentralized exchange weakened, with DEX volume dropping 35.9% QoQ to $482.9 million.
The market value of issued currencies on XRPL increased during Q2, rising 21.0% QoQ and 67.9% YoY to $980.4 million at the end of the quarter. This growth was largely driven by RLUSD, which made up 69.0% of the issued-currency value, a sharp increase from 23.4% in Q1.
