XRP Ledger Releases Security Patch After Node Vulnerability Discovered
XRP Ledger has released a new security update to protect its nodes from a recent vulnerability.
The issue was discovered on July 31st and affected the flow of data in XRP ($1.06) transactions, which did not stop processing but increased resource consumption.
The latest patch rejects large manifests and limits unknown validator records to 100 in the XRP network, preventing them from being written to permanent storage.
