XRP Ledger Secures Upgrade with Fix Cleanup Amendment
The XRP Ledger has undergone an upgrade with the implementation of the fixCleanup3_3_0 amendment, which brings together a collection of fixes for various components including Single Asset Vaults, the Lending Protocol, Automated Market Makers, the permissioned DEX, Checks, and pseudo-accounts.
The amendment achieved 88.57% consensus at the time of activation, earning 31 yes votes out of 35, after passing the two-week activation window that required it to maintain above 80% support for a 14-day period.
XRP Ledger Foundation Director of Community Hussein Zangana (Vet) celebrated this milestone in an X post, stating that the upgrade represents 'a major boost' for the XRPL.
'The XRP Ledger just got better,' Vet wrote. 'fix amendment went live for protocol hardening and the XRPL is looking great. Big thanks to the validators and everyone else for updating their infrastructure.'
