XRP Ledger Sees 654% Surge in Active Addresses

The XRP Ledger has seen a significant surge in activity, with active addresses increasing by 654.71% to around 356,000.

This jump dwarfs the network's recent daily averages, which stood at roughly 35,700 in August 2026 and peaked at about 49,900 one-day highs during that month.

Transaction activity has also been trending upward, with successful transactions on the XRPL increasing by approximately 65.5% in late August and overall transaction volume rising by around 38.5%.

The increase in active addresses is largely driven by existing holders becoming more active, rather than new arrivals to the network.
