XRP Ledger Sees $800M Boom in Distributed RWA Amid Tokenization Growth
The XRP Ledger has experienced significant growth in its tokenization market, welcoming over $800 million worth of distributed real-world assets (RWA) this year. This increase brings the total value of RWA on the network to $1.319 billion, up from $518 million at the start of 2026.
Ripple's stablecoin, RLUSD, has been a major contributor to this growth, with its market capitalization increasing from $235 million to over $896 million in just a few months. This represents an addition of $661 million in value for RLUSD alone.
The total tokenized asset ecosystem on the XRP Ledger now supports over $5.35 billion in real-world assets, including stablecoins and distributed RWA. The growth in this market is expected to continue as interest in tokenization remains strong.
