XRP Ledger Sees Explosive Growth Amid Price Lag
The XRP Ledger has seen explosive growth in network activity, adding 489,739 new accounts in the first half of 2026. This has resulted in a total of 8.403 million accounts on the ledger as of July, surpassing the previous peak of 7.913 million.
In addition to this growth, exchange supply has declined to a 7-year low of 2.748 billion XRP tokens, indicating accumulation and coins moving to self-custody. This trend is reflected in the cumulative spot ETF inflows, which have reached $1.50 billion, accounting for about 1.48% of the market cap.
The introduction of Ripple Mint has also contributed to growth, with 15 million RLUSD being minted on Ethereum and then burned in their treasury. This has resulted in a circulating supply of RLUSD on Ethereum exceeding $712 million, behind only the XRP Ledger at $873 million.
