XRP Ledger Sees Record Agent-Driven Transactions Amid AI-Powered Growth

The XRP Ledger has reached an all-time high in agent-driven transactions, surpassing 3.99 million cumulative payments. This significant milestone comes as AI-powered agents increasingly rely on the XRP Ledger for seamless and trust-minimized transfers.

Data from t54, a provider of trust and facilitation tools on the XRPL, shows that transaction volume has surged rapidly since September 1st, climbing from 3.1 million to nearly 4 million in just four days - an increase of approximately 890,000.

Ripple's introduction of the XRPL AI Starter Kit in June 2026 and the integration of Mastercard's Verifiable Intent standard with the x402 facilitator have contributed to this growth, providing new ways for AI agents to make payments using the XRP Ledger.
