XRP Ledger Sees Record-Breaking Surge in Daily Payments

The XRP Ledger network has seen a significant surge in activity, processing nearly one million daily payments on September 1. According to data from XRPSCAN, this marks a 33.6% increase over the previous day's transactions.

This recent spike brings daily payments close to the one million mark, outpacing the network's 30-day average of approximately 686,800 transactions by around 193,000. If activity continues to rise by an additional 13.7%, XRP Ledger is set to cross the one million daily payment threshold once again.

This milestone represents a robust return to elevated on-chain usage after a quieter summer for the network. Historically, XRP Ledger has seen periods where daily payments topped 1.5 million and even peaked at around six million processed payments.
