XRP Ledger Speeds Towards 1M Daily Payments Threshold
XRP Ledger's daily payment activity has reached an all-time high of 879,868 payments on September 1, bringing it closer to the significant milestone of one million payments.
According to XRPSCAN data, this represents a 33.6% increase over the previous day and is significantly higher than the 30-day average of approximately 686,800 payments.
This recent surge in activity suggests that the network is experiencing a significant recovery from its summer lows, with daily payments currently outpacing their recent average by about 193,000 per day.
With just a further 13.7% increase in activity from September's figure, XRP Ledger would surpass the psychologically significant threshold of one million daily payments for the first time since February-May period when it exceeded 1.5 million and even reached 2 million during some periods.
