XRP Ledger Surpasses 3.992 Million Agentic Transactions, Hits New All-Time High
The XRP Ledger has reached a new milestone, exceeding 3.992 million agentic transactions on September 1, 2026. This marks a significant increase from the previous record of 3.1 million transactions, which was reported just four days prior.
This growth is attributed to the continued use of AI agents to transact and settle value autonomously on the XRPL. These agents pay for services such as token analysis, crypto intelligence, market research, and prediction-market forecasts using XRP or RLUSD.
The XRP Ledger's agentic payments have also gained support from Mastercard, which has integrated its Verifiable Intent standard into the x402 facilitator. This enables developers to prove who authorized a payment, under what limits, and for which purchase.
