XRP Ledger Tokenization Surges Past $4 Billion
XRP Ledger's tokenization efforts are gaining momentum as the platform continues to expand its reach in the world of real-world assets (RWA). The latest data from RWA.xyz shows that XRP Ledger's represented asset value has climbed to $4.06 billion, marking a 2.18% increase over the past 30 days.
This growth is accompanied by a significant rise in the number of RWA holders, which has increased by 25.16% in the same period, reaching 199. The uptick comes just days after Ripple announced strategic investments in infrastructure firms ZILO and Licuido, aimed at expanding XRP Ledger's institutional capabilities.
The platform now supports token issuance, custody, collateral management, multi-currency transactions, and atomic settlement, solidifying its position as a leading RWA platform. With over 373 tokenized real-world assets and distributed asset value standing at $368.82 million, the XRP Ledger ecosystem is becoming increasingly attractive to institutional clients.
While not all metrics have moved higher, with RWA transfer volume dropping significantly to $18.15 million and stablecoin transfer volume decreasing 1.79% to $3.89 billion over the past month, the overall figures underscore Ripple's broader strategy of transforming the XRP Ledger into infrastructure for institutional tokenization and digital finance.
