XRP Ledger Trading Surges by 79% Amid Stablecoin Growth
Trading on the XRP Ledger saw significant growth in the second quarter of 2026. According to a report from Evernorth, the average daily order-book volume rose by 79% compared to the same period last year.
The report also found that the number of accounts executing trades each day decreased to 1,111 from 1,864 during the same time frame. However, this reduction in account activity led to a substantial increase in trading per active account, with average daily trading rising to 3,217 XRP.
This growth is also reflected in the use of RLUSD, Ripple's dollar-pegged stablecoin, which saw its average supply on the ledger reach $539 million. Additionally, RLUSD's share of total supply held on the XRP Ledger increased to 34% from 20% over the same period.
The report highlights the continued development of liquidity on the XRP Ledger beyond XRP itself, with a significant increase in trading activity and stablecoin usage.
