$XRP Ledger Upgrade Clears Final Vote, New Features on the Horizon

XRP Ledger's latest upgrade has cleared its final vote, paving the way for several technical upgrades to go live in the coming days. These upgrades include batched fix updates, which have already passed their 80% vote requirement and are expected to be implemented within days.

The $XRP Ledger is also set to receive new features such as zero-knowledge proof privacy features, sponsored fees and reserves, permission delegation, and dynamic multi-purpose tokens. These upgrades aim to enhance the overall user experience and provide greater security for token holders.

Some analysts are pointing to the built-in decentralized exchange (DEX) on the $XRP Ledger as a safeguard for token holders in case of centralized exchanges shutting down. The DEX operates independently of any single platform, allowing users to continue trading and earning yield on $XRP even if individual exchanges they relied on disappear.
