XRP Ledger Upgrade Imminent: Fixcleanup3_2_0 Set to Go Live
The XRP Ledger ecosystem is gearing up for an important upgrade set to go live in two days. The fixCleanup3_2_0 amendment, which has achieved majority support with 85.71% consensus from validators, will bring fixes to several key components of the XRP Ledger.
This includes Single Asset Vaults, the Lending Protocol, permissioned DEXs (Decentralized Exchanges), Multi-Purpose Tokens, and permissioned domains. The upgrade is part of Ripple's ongoing effort to strengthen XRPL security.
The fixCleanup3_2_0 amendment comes after a previous release, fixCleanup3_1_3, which addressed issues with NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), Permissioned Domains, Vaults, and the Lending Protocol. This upgrade is also expected to pave the way for future improvements, including another software release v3.3.0 in the coming weeks.
Ripple has been actively working on enhancing XRPL security through its AI-assisted red team initiative, which aims to continuously hunt for vulnerabilities in the XRP Ledger.
