XRP Ledger Upgrade Nears Activation with One Validator Vote Needed

RippleX, the developer team behind the XRP Ledger, has made significant progress towards activating the Batch V1.1 upgrade. This feature allows users to bundle up to eight transactions into one operation, reducing the complexity of multiple transfers.

The latest review found and fixed 11 bugs in the software, including a critical flaw that could have allowed an attacker to reuse a user's signed permission to execute more transactions than intended.

Batch V1.1 requires 80% support from trusted validators to activate, with 27 of 35 voting in favor. However, one validator remains undecided, and the team is waiting for their vote to start the two-week countdown towards activation.
