XRP Ledger Upgrades with Institutional Finance Features and Tokenization Capabilities
The XRP Ledger has entered a new phase with the release of xrpld version 3.3.0, an upgrade aimed at institutional finance, tokenization, and more advanced decentralized applications.
The software is live, while six new amendments have entered the validator voting process and still require approval before activation.
The upgrade includes Confidential Transfers, which enables encrypted Multi-Purpose Token balances and transfers, preserving on-chain verification. Batch Transactions allows up to eight transactions to execute atomically, meaning every transaction succeeds together or the entire batch fails.
The Permission Delegation feature allows organizations to authorize specific wallets for limited actions while treasury funds remain stored in cold wallets.
