XRP Ledger Urges Node Operators to Upgrade After Manifest Flood
Ripple's XRP Ledger has urged node operators to upgrade to version 3.2.1 after experiencing a manifest flood on July 31.
The update, which was published as a hotfix on August 1, limits how nodes process and share data received from unknown validator identities.
The four safeguards included in the update cap manifest size, message batches, outbound sharing, and unknown-key cache growth network-wide.
XRP Ledger Operations advised node operators to upgrade as soon as possible, follow a normal software update with a restart of the service, and then verify that xrpld is running.
