XRP Ledger Value Soars to Six-Quarter High Amid Declining Active Accounts

The XRP Ledger saw significant growth in Q2 2026, with the average value held on the ledger reaching $4.26 billion, a six-quarter high.

This increase in value was accompanied by a rise in trading volume, with an average of 3.57 million XRP traded daily, up 79% from the same period last year, according to CoinDesk.

However, despite this growth, the number of active accounts on the ledger actually decreased, with about 16,600 accounts transacting per day in Q2, down 24% from a year earlier.
