XRP Ledger's Batch V1.1 Amendment Nears Activation with One Vote Short

XRP Ledger's Batch V1.1 amendment is nearing activation after securing 27 of 35 validator votes, just one vote shy of the required 80% threshold.

The update will allow users to combine up to eight transactions into a single atomic operation, ensuring linked payments succeed together or fail together.

Developers addressed 11 security issues involving signatures, authorization, and server stability before the current vote, following a prior version's withdrawal due to a critical flaw.

If the final vote is secured, the amendment will enter a 14-day activation period, but support must remain above 80% throughout to activate.
