XRP Ledger's Tokenized Asset Growth Surpasses $2.6 Billion in Six Months
The XRP Ledger has seen significant growth in its tokenized real-world asset (RWA) value, adding $2.6 billion over the past six months. This puts it second among blockchains for net RWA inflows during this period.
Binance Chain took the top spot with about $3 billion in added RWA value, while Stellar followed closely behind XRP Ledger with roughly $2.1 billion.
Justoken's JMWH product is the largest contributor to XRP Ledger's RWA value, accounting for over 51% of its total at $2.23 billion. This asset represents contracted energy output and has a unique characteristic: it mainly serves as a blockchain record for energy contracts rather than a widely traded asset.
The growth in XRP Ledger's RWA value is attributed to the addition of new issuers and asset types during 2023, with its RWA count reaching 373 and tracked holders increasing by 14.29% over 30 days.
