XRP Ledger's Tokenized RWA Base Surges to $3B
The XRP Ledger's tokenized real-world assets (RWA) base has surged to $3 billion in just 30 days, representing a 59% increase. This milestone is attributed to a combination of protocol upgrades and institutional pipelines coming online.
The Dubai Land Department's government-backed property tokenization program and the UK Financial Conduct Authority-regulated Archax have both contributed significantly to this growth. The latter has committed $1 billion in tokenized securities, which are expected to be issued by mid-2026.
Treasury tokenization on the XRP Ledger is also expanding rapidly, with data showing a substantial increase from around $50 million in early 2025 to a larger position by Q1 2026. The Permissioned Domains amendment activated in April 2026 has removed technical arguments for private-chain deployment.
The growth of tokenized RWA on the XRP Ledger now represents approximately 10% of the total cross-chain market, which stood at $30 billion in April 2026. This development is seen as a benchmark for firms evaluating whether to deploy RWA tokenization programs on public versus private infrastructure.
