XRP Links Up with FedNow via Volante, But Will Hype Hold?
Ripple's XRP is gaining momentum as it becomes connected to the Federal Reserve's FedNow service via Volante Technologies. However, there's no official confirmation from the Federal Reserve that positions XRP as a service provider for FedNow.
Volante Technologies serves as middleware for major U.S. banks, allowing them to use various networks such as FedNow, RTP, and SWIFT. With its connection to Volante, banks can settle transactions through XRP on the same rails used by the Fed for 24/7 real-time transfers.
The market has responded positively to the speculation surrounding the FedNow connection, with demand for XRP intensifying in the spot market. The netflow dropped to -$12.9 million, marking the third consecutive day of this trend. Additionally, XRP's total transaction count reached a four-month high of 3.2 million, indicating rising network activity.
The growing community buzz around FedNow links could have a positive impact on XRP price action, with some predicting that it could flip $1.6 and target $2 if the hype holds.
