XRP Network Activity Leaps 84% Amid Price Volatility
XRP's network activity has seen significant growth in August, according to recent data from CryptoQuant. Despite its price volatility, the number of active addresses on the XRP ledger has surged by over 84% since the start of the month.
The data shows that on August 1, there were 23,642 active addresses, but this figure jumped to 43,543 as of August 11. This represents a notable increase of about 84.18% in just over a week, indicating a surge in adoption and increased on-chain participation.
This divergence between network activity and price movement is particularly noteworthy, given that XRP has achieved a negative return of -3.58% so far this month. While the rise in active addresses does not necessarily guarantee a price recovery, sustained growth in network activity could reflect rising interest in the leading altcoin, potentially driving demand.
