XRP Network Transformation: Ripple Unveils Five Major Amendments with xrpld 3.3.0
Ripple has announced the upcoming release of xrpld 3.3.0 technology version, which includes five major XRP amendments aimed at transforming the network. According to Jazzi Cooper, RippleX's Product Lead, this update will accelerate global network adoption in cross-border payment operations.
The xrpld 3.3.0 package integrates a consolidated package of five protocol amendments scheduled for official distribution next week. These amendments include delivery-versus-payment (DvP) settlement feature, which allows grouping and executing up to eight transactions atomically under an all-or-nothing principle.
The fee sponsorship mechanism enables financial institutions to absorb network costs and account reserves for their end users. This will eliminate the technical requirement for retail users to directly acquire or hold the native XRP token to perform transfers with tokenized assets.
