XRP on Thin Ice as Senate Vote Looms and Institutional Inflows Surge

The XRP market is at a critical juncture as the Senate prepares to vote on the CLARITY Act, a bill that could have significant implications for the cryptocurrency's near-term price performance. The bill, which aims to provide clarity on digital asset regulations, has seen its probability of passage drop from 82% in February to around 14% today.

Despite this, XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have recorded their highest-ever weekly inflows, totaling $110.49 million. This influx of institutional capital has not yet translated into a price surge for XRP, with prices remaining relatively flat at around $1.37.

One potential factor contributing to the lackluster response from investors is the introduction of cloud mining contracts by UE Crypto. These contracts offer a way for XRP holders to generate returns beyond simply holding onto their assets, and have attracted significant attention from investors looking for alternative ways to participate in the digital asset ecosystem.
