XRP on Thin Ice: Can It Hold Above $1?
XRP is facing another critical test of its $1 threshold as it struggles to regain bullish momentum. The asset has lost ground after multiple failed recovery attempts over the past month and is currently trading at around $1.07, leaving little room for error before testing significant support.
The 26-day, 50-day, and 100-day exponential moving averages are among the major EMAs that XRP is still trading below, indicating a long-term trend that has not yet recovered. The 200-day EMA remains significantly higher at $1.39, suggesting that every rally since early June has stalled below declining moving averages.
The recent price action lacks conviction, with decreasing volume over the last two weeks indicating that buyers and sellers are waiting for a catalyst. XRP is currently in a narrow range just above support, which often precedes a significant directional move.
