XRP Overtakes Cardano as Better Buy Amid Financial Institution Support
XRP and Cardano are two cryptocurrencies that have been struggling in recent months. While they both have their advantages, XRP is currently the better buy due to its growing traction with financial institutions.
One of the key reasons for XRP's success is its development focus on attracting capital and financial institutions to its chain. The XRP Ledger has already settled tokenized U.S. Treasury redemptions in under five seconds, demonstrating its potential as a reliable technology stack for these institutions.
In contrast, Cardano is facing significant challenges. Despite upcoming upgrades to improve smart contract performance and increase throughput capacity, the ecosystem is shrinking, and there's no clear strategy to attract new capital or users.
The XRP ecosystem, on the other hand, has seen a significant growth in tokenized assets, reaching $323 million in value as of July 21. Additionally, seven XRP U.S. spot exchange-traded funds have absorbed $1.4 billion in cumulative net capital inflows since their launch.
Given these factors, it's clear that XRP is the better investment choice at this time.
