XRP Payment Volume Surges as Network Indicators Show Contrasting Signals

The XRP Ledger has seen a significant increase in payment activity over the past 24 hours, with a 26% rise in the volume of XRP payments to approximately 462.9 million.

This translates to more than $620 million in nominal value moving through payments at the current price of around $1.34 per XRP.

However, network indicators show conflicting signals: while the number of new accounts created increased by 8.8% to 2,300, and transaction fees rose by 8.5% to 277.4 XRP, active users declined by 22.4% to 151,500.

This disparity suggests that the increase in payment volume may be due to larger transactions or concentrated activity rather than a proportional rise in overall adoption.
