XRP Price Action Stagnant Amid Whale Accumulation and Senate Cliffhanger
XRP's price action remains stagnant at $1.06, roughly 5 percent above its yearly trough of $1.01 and still nearly 69 percent below the $3.37 peak reached in August 2025.
The token's large holders are quietly building positions at the fastest clip in months, with wallets containing between 100,000 and 100 million XRP increasing their holdings by 2.8 percent over the past five weeks, an accumulation worth roughly $700 million.
Retail investors, on the other hand, have trimmed their positions by 5.2 percent over the same stretch, a sell-off that contrasts with the whale buying spree.
The exchange flows reinforce this picture of dwindling sell pressure, with whale deposits to Binance falling to a two-month low, while the exchange's XRP reserves sit at their weakest level in five months.
