XRP Price Compression Suggests Volatility Ahead
Crypto analyst ChartNerd believes XRP is approaching a critical moment after several days of tightening price action. The analyst pointed to increasing price compression as the final week of July begins, suggesting that volatility could soon return to the market.
XRP has retraced back to an ascending support trend line after encountering resistance at the daily 50-day exponential moving average (EMA), which is located around $1.14. ChartNerd noted that this level must hold if XRP is to maintain its current structure.
In a video accompanying his post, ChartNerd explained that XRP is currently trading between two significant technical levels: the ascending support and the daily 50 EMA. He reviewed XRP's recent market behavior, pointing out that previous encounters with the 50 EMA resulted in notable declines, including a drop from approximately $1.30 to $1.00 on June 15.
The analyst emphasized that preserving this support is essential for maintaining the bullish structure that has developed over recent weeks, and that XRP must overcome the daily 50 EMA to confirm a stronger upward move.
