XRP Price Consolidates as CLARITY Act Faces Delays in US Senate
The XRP price has been hovering around $1.08, with a modest +0.43% move on the day. After sliding from roughly $1.37 a week earlier, XRP has settled into a tight consolidation band between a 24-hour high of $1.0866 and a low of $1.0628.
The technical picture across both spot and futures markets shows that the primary trend is still down, but the shrinking volume and stabilizing Money Flow Index hint that the market is searching for a base rather than preparing for another leg lower.
The CLARITY Act, a market-structure legislation, is the single most important catalyst for XRP because it would provide regulatory clarity that unlocks large-scale institutional participation and cleaner pathways for ETF inflows.
Recent news has been a setback as the U.S. Senate shelved the CLARITY Act to prioritize a Russia sanctions bill, pushing the legislation toward near-certain limbo before the chamber's August recess begins around August 7.
