XRP Price Cools, Institutional Adoption Heats Up
XRP's price has cooled down after a recent surge, but its institutional scaffolding is being assembled at an impressive pace. The token's price climbed from $1 to an intraday peak of $1.6963 in just one week, only to slow down afterwards. As of now, XRP trades around $1.39.
Market observers attribute the breakout to four converging forces: Treasury buyback plans from the US government, renewed hopes for regulatory clarity tied to the CLARITY Act, a notable accumulation spree by large holders, and fresh institutional money pouring into spot products.
Ripple's prime brokerage arm has launched its delta-one business, giving hedge funds access to US equities, indices, and cryptocurrencies via total return swaps. Goldman Sachs has also disclosed an $86.5 million position across five spot XRP ETFs, a reversal from the bank's earlier full exit.
