XRP Price Could Hit $7 if CLARITY Act Passes, Analyst Predicts
XRP has experienced significant price growth in recent years, but its future trajectory remains uncertain. In the last two three-year windows, XRP's price increased by a factor of 2.1 and then 2.7, respectively. However, the next window will be influenced by several factors, including a Bitcoin halving event, a regulatory fork in the road, and a collateral use case that could either reshape the token or prove irrelevant.
The CLARITY Act, which would split crypto oversight between the SEC and CFTC, is expected to be passed by 2029. If this bill passes, XRP's price could reach $4 to $7, driven by increased demand for ETFs and XRPL lending. However, if the bill fails, XRP's price may stagnate at around $1.11.
The forecast also assumes that banks and funds will begin using XRP as on-chain collateral, which is contingent on the successful launch of XRPL lending. If this demand materializes, XRP's price could reach $10 to $20 by 2029. However, this scenario relies heavily on several assumptions and requires the presence of a bull cycle.
