XRP Price Could Reach $23.91 as Bitcoin Market Cap Grows
Ripple's CTO David Schwartz reignited debate about XRP potentially overtaking Bitcoin's market capitalization, saying it's more likely to happen through XRP's own growth and adoption rather than a collapse in Bitcoin's price.
Crypto analyst Zach Rector broke down the implications of this statement for XRP's price, calculating that if Bitcoin reaches a $1.5 trillion valuation, XRP would be worth around $23.91 using its current circulating supply of about 62 billion tokens.
However, taking into account XRP's full 100 billion token supply, Rector estimated fully diluted values of $15 at a $1.5 trillion valuation and $25 at $2.5 trillion, which he described as the base case under Schwartz's own reasoning.
Rector also ran this scenario through an AI tool called Claude to stress-test his conservative estimate, and the AI pushed back that his numbers understated the case, suggesting that a Bitcoin market cap of $1.5 trillion would actually make XRP worth more than Rector initially calculated.
