XRP Price Crash Warning: Analyst Warns of Potential Downturn After 71% Surge
XRP investors are being warned about the potential for a price crash after a recent 71% surge in value. According to analyst Steph Is Crypto, the current chart structure is strikingly similar to one that preceded a steep decline in 2022.
The Super Trend indicator, which flashes red in bearish conditions and green in bullish ones, has been flashing red on XRP since July 2025. A sharp single-candle surge pushed XRP up to test the upper boundary near $1.42, mirroring a similar move in 2022.
Steph is cautioning investors not to ignore the warning signs, noting that if history rhymes, XRP could dip below $1.00 to form a double bottom before any meaningful upside resumes. He emphasized that no technical indicator can fully predict exact market moves and urged investors to manage risk given the resemblance to historical extremes.
The critical level of $1.30 is now the line in the sand, according to Steph. As long as XRP holds above this level, the short-term bullish trend remains intact. However, a sustained break below it could signal a renewed downturn.
