XRP Price Declines Amid Fed Hawkishness, But Institutional Demand Holds Strong
XRP's price took a hit this week, dropping 2.52% to $1.36 on August 31, after Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh made hawkish remarks at Jackson Hole.
The comments led to a reassessment of rate cut expectations, prompting liquidations across crypto markets, including XRP. Binance's record sell-side volume also contributed to the downward momentum.
However, strong institutional demand and dwindling exchange supply suggest XRP remains well-positioned for a rebound.
U.S. spot XRP ETFs recorded $153 million in inflows in August, their best month since December 2025, helping absorb supply and support price floors.
