Ripple's XRP price has been volatile in recent days, failing to break above $1.50 and falling to as low as $1.36 before recovering to around $1.39. The token is currently trading below its previous resistance zone at $1.55, but experts predict it could push through this level if momentum builds up.

The chart shows a failed breakout above $1.50, with the price forming lower highs around $1.50 and $1.46. Daily data indicates that XRP closed at $1.3838 on August 28 before recovering to $1.3965 on August 29.

The Stochastic is down near 28%, and the Ultimate Oscillator sits at 49.60, in the middle range. This suggests that buyers still have room to step in, but XRP needs to push clean past $1.43 first. Without this, the bulls don't have much to stand on.

Ripple's four-stage plan to prepare the XRP Ledger for quantum-computing threats is also a significant development. The company aims to transition to post-quantum signatures by 2028 and has outlined emergency Q-Day recovery, testing, hybrid cryptography, and full deployment as part of this roadmap.
